Sharee Collier

Hey! I’m Sharee…

That’s my face in the right corner of the picture above. I’m 30 years old. I married my prom date, I have four kids, 1 dog and I love to travel!

I think I’ve always loved to travel. When I was a child, I moved around frequently sometimes attending more than one school each year. Yikes! I was quickly made accustomed to meeting new people, trying new things and discovering new places. As I grew older, I guess I grew into the nomadic nature of my childhood.

I find something so wonderful about the feeling you have when you’re traveling. Driving down the road, taking in all the new sites. Adventure mixed with anxiety? I don’t know, it’s hard to explain, but try it out and let me know if you feel it… Anyway, my husband and I decided to let our hearts be our guides and embarked on an awesome adventure to take our children traveling fulltime.

Blogger. Freelance Writer. Perpetual Traveler. Modern-Day Explorer?

I’m guilty of all charges. I love to write, always have. Since I was in middle school I always dreamed of being a writer. I also love to travel and explore. Freelancing allowed me to do them all. I write the content for this website, as well as articles based on fulltime family travel, roadschooling and workamping, for online and print publications like Workamper News.

Why do I write this stuff?

I want other ordinary families to know they can live extraordinary lives. It’s that simple! I know how it feels to be stuck in a rut. You wake up each morning, doing almost exactly what you did yesterday, the day before and the day before that. It’s mind numbing, for someone who loves change.

With a little courage, some planning and prep and maybe even a slight push, families dreaming about changing their realities into those dreamy travels can do it too. That’s why I write this stuff. To help others who are in the same place we were, just 3 short years ago.
