Amazon Camperforce Peak 2016 Ramp Down:

Getting dressed today, was so exciting. I knew it was the last day and while I was thrilled I was also dreading a full 10 hours of good-byes.

Please Note: I am not representing Camperforce. I am also not a spokesperson, or officially affiliated with the Amazon Corporation or Camperforce Program. The information, ideas, reviews, and comments I provide are none other than my own. I find they are true from the first hand, personal experience of working inside the Amazon Fulfillment Center as a Camperforce Associate. I will provide a truthful explanation and as many details as possible both here as well as in my ebook, but this information can change without notice at any time. Here’s how the last day of CamperForce Peak 2016 went:

Woot! Woot! The final day is here and I couldn’t be more thrilled about it!

Today is the final day of the 2016 season of Amazon’s Camperforce Program in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Today will be 10 long hours of saying good-bye to friends, both new and old as well as all the Blue Badge Associates in the building.

We’ve been here a whopping 5 months- so this time it really seems harder than the others. I was secretly hoping we would be released early, like first break or maybe just before lunch, even though many others wanted to work all day trying to get the last few hours to add to their banks.

My wish would soon come true!

At 9 am we took the first of our 2 fifteen minute breaks. I used mine to make a cup of coffee and a bowl of oatmeal that I took out to my car where I FaceTimed Antwon about the day.

I told him that the day was creeping along, since work was really low and I thought an early release was a strong possibility…

After walking back inside and taking a quick selfie with my Campeforce buddy- Kristin and the General Manager of the site, we caught wind that a meeting had been called in the front breakroom for all outbound staff.

This is it!

We walked happily to Breakroom A, after grabbing our cellphones for more selfies. My wish was being granted and Christmas was coming early! Our ramp down meeting was happening right now- and within about 20 minutes we were released and sent on our merry ways!
